02How We Earn Compensation

Sponsored links & buttonsSome outbound links and "Get a Free Quote," "Match Me to a Pro," or similar call-to-action buttons may be affiliate or sponsored. We may earn a commission if you click or take an action with a partner.
Partner referralsWhen you submit our forms, we may share your request with one or more independent HVAC contractors in our network. If you authorize work with a matched provider, we may receive a referral fee paid by the contractor (not by you).
Phone callsCalls placed via website phone numbers may route through call-tracking systems and may be associated with a partner relationship. Call duration and outcome may influence referral compensation.
Manufacturer partnershipsWhere we reference specific HVAC brands (Trane, Carrier, Lennox, Goodman, Rheem, etc.), we may have promotional relationships that influence which products are featured. Editorial content remains independent.

03What This Means for You

No extra costCompensation generally does not increase the price you pay for HVAC service, repair, or installation. Pricing is set by each independent contractor.
Editorial standardsSponsored placements may be labeled "Sponsored" or "Ad." Cost ranges, FAQs, maintenance guides, and product reviews aim to be accurate and useful regardless of compensation.
IndependenceNational AC Solutions is not an HVAC service provider. Matched contractors are independent businesses responsible for their own work, quotes, timelines, warranties, refrigerant handling, permit applications, and compliance with EPA Section 608, state licensing, and local building codes.
No guarantee of serviceOur role is matching you with a vetted contractor. We do not guarantee the availability, pricing, or outcome of any HVAC service. The matched contractor you hire is solely responsible for the work performed.

04Ranking & Featured Placement

Where HVAC contractors are listed or prioritized in our matching algorithm, placement may consider factors such as service area coverage, real-time availability, customer ratings, historical response time, pricing-audit compliance, and commercial agreements. Sponsored placements, if any, will always be clearly labeled. We do not rank contractors based solely on who pays the highest referral fee.

05Due Diligence

Please evaluate any HVAC contractor for state licensing, liability insurance, EPA 608 refrigerant-handling certification, manufacturer certifications, experience with your specific system, and price suitability before hiring. We do not control third-party work quality, schedules, permits, or pricing. Ask any contractor for their state license number, a written flat-rate quote, and proof of insurance before authorizing work. If a contractor on-site seems unprofessional, refuses to provide documentation, or pressures you to make an immediate decision, end the visit and contact us.
